Fairstone House
Design
Fairstone House is a project completed by Fairstone Property in 2021. Using a previously derelict site we managed to design and build an eight unit block that vastly improved the immediate area, aesthetically and functionally.
The building is designed around a central circulation with every floor containing two flats, each with access to private outdoor space and plenty of natural light.
London stock effect bricks and black aluminium windows provide an East London materiality, situating it in its Forest Gate location.
Build
Fairstone House was our first multiple unit new-build development so it was important to us that we paid close attention during the build phase.
Utilising a mixed steel and timber frame, as well as modern building materials and processes, allowed us to build efficiently and to a high standard.
Remaining on time and on budget was achieved via a strong relationship with our main contractor as well as regular site visits to ensure every aspect of the design was carried out to a high quality.
